So many Americans have spent the last few weeks learning about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and how it is impacting our country and the world. We know that every decision we make impacts the people we love, our employees, customers, the community, and understand that lives have already been greatly affected.  

As of March 24, 2020 Door County Interiors will close the showroom and design center until further notice due to the prevention of the spread of COVID-19. Please note that although the store will be closed, we strive to continue business as usual as much as possible. The phone system and email notifications will be monitored and answered daily. Currently scheduled deliveries and projects will continue using conscious sanitary measures. We have implemented virtual appointments with interior designers that can be booked right here on our website or each designer can also be reached via email. The online store is open for business at shopdoorcountyinteriors.com featuring everything from furniture & area rugs to lamps & home accessories with Free Delivery in Door County! We encourage purchasing gift cards online at this time if you’d like to purchase home furnishings in the future as well as supporting our small business. 

We know that many of you have appointments scheduled for on-going projects or deliveries.  Our team will minimize any risk by using appropriate disinfecting products such as disposable gloves, sanitizing wipes, and appropriate social distancing measures.  If you have any concerns, we will be happy to reschedule your projects for a later time. We are grateful for our loyal customers and the Door County community. We believe this is the path forward for today and are listening carefully to adjust as needed.  Our 17 years of experience has taught us we can navigate uncertain times by being realistic yet optimistic. What if we have a delivery already scheduled? Can we reschedule for a later date?

YES! If we haven't been in touch with you already, please call (920) 868-9008 to reschedule your delivery at no cost.

If we still want our furniture delivered, what actions is the staff taking to sanitize both themselves and the product when coming into my home?

We are offering FREE curbside or garage delivery in Door County or curbside/garage delivery in a limited service area for a fee. Our staff will minimize any risk by using appropriate products such as disposable gloves, disinfectants, and sanitizing wipes. If you have any concerns, we will be happy to partner with you to reschedule your appointment at no additional cost.

What steps has Door County Interiors taken to ensure the safety of products being imported are safe to be brought into my home?

Door County Interiors showroom, design center, and warehouse has increased cleaning and sanitizing procedures on all products coming into our facility, including both domestic and imported goods, which represent only a small portion of our product lines. Currently, there is no evidence to support transmission of COVID-19 associated with imported goods and there have not been any cases of COVID-19 in the United States associated with imported goods.  The Center for Disease Control updates their FAQ's on this topic daily.

If I am not able to take delivery of my product due to shutdowns or any other concerns related to coronavirus, how long can Door County Interiors hold my order in storage?

We understand that it is difficult to anticipate when communities are able to resume regular activities. Please know we are flexible and will work with each individual order during this time.
